Safe Passing Law

Legislation to enact a statewide 5-foot passing law is in danger in the House and we need your help! A specified distance (5-feet) could be stripped out of the legislation if we don’t speak up now.

The House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee will likely act on HB 4265 on January 16, 2018. We need your help to urge committee members to keep a specific distance in the bill to enact the strongest safe passing law possible. Click below or visit www.LMB.org/engage to sign.

Please sign this NEW action alert to email the House Transportation and Infrastructure Committee members and call Chairman Triston Cole and Vice Chairman Michael Webber. We only have a short window to make an impact, please be sure to follow up your email with a call. Additionally, help us spread the word to your fellow cyclists or cycling friends by forwarding this message or sharing the action on social media.

Tentative changes to the 2018 member meeting schedule

The June membership meeting will be the Annual DALMAC Meeting.
There will be no membership meeting in July, August, November or December.

Welcome to Tri-Coun
ty Bicycle Association!

About TCBA

Tri-County Bicycle Association has served bicyclists in mid-Michigan since 1972. Notably, TCBA volunteers make possible the Dick Allen Lansing to MACkinaw (DALMAC) tour. Annually on Labor Day weekend, more than 2000 participants enjoy 4 or 5 days riding their bicycles from Lansing to Mackinaw City (or beyond!). Through the DALMAC Fund, TCBA provides funding to bicycling projects all over Michigan.

The three counties referenced by our name are Ingham, Clinton, and Eaton Counties.  While we focus on organized bicycle rides and safety in those counties, we welcome members from anywhere.

TCBA Members enjoy organized rides, ride incentives, and opportunities for volunteering, and have lots of fun riding.  We welcome riders of any skill level or interest: road bikes, bike commuters, fat tire winter riders, mountain bikes, recumbent bikes and trikes, you name it... you will find TCBA members who share your passion!

We offer rides nearly every day of the week during riding season... check out the rides listed on the right side of this page -->>>
